Wellpark Brewery is home to more than 450 years of brewing tradition and award winning beers, a heritage that began in 1556 when Robert Tennent's was a private brewer and maltman based near Glasgow Cathedral. Today, Tennent's is Scotland's leading lager and the oldest ongoing commercial operation in Glasgow.
The tour of Wellpark Brewery takes you through the process from refining the ingredients to mashing, malting, brewing, kegging, bottling and canning. The guided part of the tour lasts about one hour, but your experience doesn't end there. Once you've seen the brewing and packaging process, you can enjoy a complimentary pint of Tennent's Lager on the premises.
Tennent's has been part of Scotland and its culture for generations and in the T Room visitor area you will have the chance to learn about the rich heritage of one Scotland's most loved brands. From the origins of brewing at Wellpark, to the present day support of Scottish music and football.
The T Room also displays a rare collection of Tennent's packaging, and there's a chance to watch Tennent's iconic adverts from over the decades. A range of Tennent's merchandise is available to buy on the premises
