Welcome to Tennent’s Brewery
What makes Tennent’s Scotland’s favourite beer?
Go behind the scenes on the official Tennent’s Brewery Tour to discover the inner workings of Wellpark Brewery, Glasgow’s most famous brewery. Within these walls, you’ll find the home of over 450 years of brewing tradition and our range of award-winning beers. It helps too that you can enjoy a pint of the freshest Tennent’s Lager you will ever get your hands on!
Every guided tour starts at the Tennent’s Story Heritage Centre where you’ll be taken on an immersive journey through the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery. Artefacts gathered from the first days of brewing at Wellpark in 1556 through to today will reveal the origins, production and provenance of our famous beer. You’ll discover how Tennent’s became part of Scottish culture and marvel at moments from our iconic advertising campaigns, T in the Park festival and our cultural significance.
Glasgow Brewery Tour
After exploring the heritage centre, jump forward to the present day and join your guide on a tour of Wellpark Brewery to go through the journey of how Tennent’s is brewed.
You’ll be guided all around the brewery to see how we select the ingredients that go into every pint, how we brew the beer in the Brewhouse, where it’s all stored in the giant tanks and how every drop is bottled, kegged and canned to be shipped everywhere from Glasgow to Milan to Africa.
Your own Pint of Glasgow’s Finest
No Tennent’s Brewery Tour would be complete without a pint of the good stuff!
After you’ve discovered the craft behind our legendary brew, you’ll be taken to our tasting experience for a free pint of brewery-fresh Tennent’s Tank Beer poured straight from our impressive copper tanks. Even if you’re familiar with our beer, the freshness you’ll get in this pint will be unlike anything else you can try in the city.
